If you provide your own transportation on our Lodore Canyon,
Yampa River, or Cataract Canyon
trips, the price will be reduced $100 per person.
The "River Trip Only" option means you will meet us at the launch point of your desired trip.
You will need to make arrangements to have your car shuttled to the end point of the trip ahead
of time. Adventure Bound will provide a list of shuttle services.
For a "River Trip Only" option on Lodore, you would meet at the launch point, Gates of Lodore Campground.
Before the trip starts, make arrangements to have your vehicle transported to "Split Mountain" boat ramp.
- Meeting Time and Place: 10:30 AM, Gates of Lodore
- Trip Ends: Split Mountain, 3:00 PM (approximately), last day of trip
Shuttle services that will transport your vehicle:
The cost of additional fuel for you and the shuttle charge sometimes makes this a "break-even" prospect
for just 2 people. This option is often used by groups, but sometimes it can make sense when you want to
travel west from our ending point. When we provide transportation, you can elect to meet us in Steamboat Springs, Craig or Maybell,
Colorado.
Adventure Bound may be able to arrange a "River Trip Only" option for groups on Westwater Canyon
and Desolation Canyon rafting trips. Call our office for details.
