This section of the Colorado River is managed by the Bureau of Land Management. The BLM has designated this area as a "wilderness study" area. This rugged canyon is completely undeveloped and has all the values required for wilderness designation. Our hope is that Congress will protect this area permanently. A great river for rafting and inflatable kayaking without interference from the outside world!
